City of Wanneroo residents are being asked to comment on plans for a new 24/7 fast-food outlet but the identity of the chain hoping to operate the site remains a mystery.

A development application has been lodged to construct a fast-food outlet at 1/917 Wanneroo Road, which would have existing buildings at the site demolished and replaced with a 24/7 venue featuring a dual-lane drive-through.

However, the development application, lodged by Apex Planning on behalf of a private equity firm, stops short of confirming which chain would occupy the site, with no mention in the planning documents or artist impressions.

The proposed outlet would be next to a KFC, approved last August for construction on adjacent land at the corner of Noonan Drive and Wanneroo Road.
