In the McLaren household Stu makes the money and his wife Amy makes sure it’s well spent.

The couple take some of the money generated by Stu’s business ventures and donated by other like-minded entrepreneurs to build schools in Nakuru, Kenya.

To date, the couple has built 16 schools through Village Impact, the Burlington-based nonprofit organization they co-founded.

“We have a three-phase approach – make it happen, make it awesome and make it last,” said Stu, a Waterford native who co-founded Brantford-based North Results and Membership.io with partners Andrew Ferraccioli and Asim Gilani.
