OMAHA, Neb. —

A woman accused of being an accessory to a felony in the shooting death of a 22-year-old man will go to trial.

Prosecutors said Mercy Mendoza-Gutierrez helped the suspect get away from the scene near 120th and Miami streets in July.

Sirr Bonner died at the hospital from his injuries.

Mendoza-Gutierrez waived her preliminary hearing and was bound over to district court for trial.

Investigators arrested a 15-year-old for second-degree murder in the case.
