CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division has charged a Charleston County man and a Dorchester County woman with lottery fraud.

Franklin Alfonso Grant, Jr., 28, of Charleston County, is charged with intent to defraud and counterfeit game tickets on Friday. Alexandria Renee Talley, 32, of Dorchester County, is charged with intent to defraud, counterfeit game tickets and attempted to influence a game by coercion on Monday.

Grant allegedly used images of the tickets on his phone that were shared with him by the victim, who originally bought the tickets, and tried to redeem them to receive cash prizes totaling $789, according to the affidavit.
