CINCINNATI (WXIX) - A man is set to go to trial in October after he was found competent in a Hamilton County courtroom Friday.

Desean Brown is accused of killing 3-year-old Nylo Lattimore and 29-year-old Nyteisha Lattimore in December 2020.

On Friday, Judge Leah Dinkelacker and two psychologists all determined that Brown is competent to stand trial.

The psychologists spoke Friday about their interactions with Brown.

One doctor said Brown wouldn’t make eye contact, often looking down and would mumble responses.

That same doctor explained that during another evaluation, his behavior was a bit different, where he made eye contact and said ‘hello’, but when she started to ask questions, he questioned her why she was doing so.
