ENGADINE – For the first time since 2022, the Pellston football team is 2-0.
Playing on Thursday night, the Hornets captured a 32-6 win at Engadine in a non-conference matchup.
Offensively, the Hornets (2-0) were fueled by senior Brady Bonter, who rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, while fellow senior Connor Keller recorded 127 rushing yards. With junior quarterback Brett Bonter currently nursing an injury, senior Lucas Livermore stepped up at QB and delivered a 12-yard touchdown pass to Sam O’Neil on a fourth-down play.
Defensively, Livermore picked off a pass, scored a TD, and recorded eight tackles for the Hornets, who received eight tackles apiece from Keller (interception), Brady Bonter (sack) and Landon Brandt.
