High School students protest school shooting at Indiana statehouse

Sandy Hook Elementary, Uvalde Elementary, Noblesville Middle School, Parkland High School. The list of school shootings — and the number of children dead — have mounted since current high schoolers began their educational journeys.

It's a fact not lost on Indianapolis high schoolers, who on Sept. 5 gathered at the statehouse to protest a lack of gun control in Indiana as part of a nationwide walkout primarily organized by the Students Demand Action activist group. .
