EVERETT — Arlington police booked a 31-year-old Marysville man on Thursday outside Eagle Creek Elementary School on suspicion of driving under the influence, reckless endangerment and brandishing a knife.

Around 5:50 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to reports of a man driving unsafely on the grass along the fenceline of Eagle Creek Elementary School at 1216 E. 5th St. Witnesses told police the driver was behaving erratically during a school event, which led to an argument with bystanders, an Arlington Police Department social media post .

Officers detained the driver upon arrival, the post said. After further investigation and interviews with witnesses, officers booked the suspect into Snohomish County Jail.
