MAHONING VALLEY, Ohio - The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley confirmed Friday that the nonprofit's finances are intact, following an internal financial review the society initiated after former executive director Stacie Bacorn resigned in June . Bacorn resigned from the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley ( ASMV ) after pleading guilty to stealing nearly $7,000 from a previous nonprofit she led.

In a Friday press release, the society stated that "no funds are missing" and "all accounts remain fully intact". The organization additionally stated that it is dedicated to the Autism communities of Northeast Ohio and hopes to "reassure families, donors and community partners of its continued financial strength and transparency" moving forward.
