Gogglebox fans divided over new families minutes into fresh series

Gogglebox enthusiasts were left divided after watching the opening episode of the beloved Channel 4 programme's latest series.

The 26th season commenced on Friday (September 5) following confirmation that five fresh families had been added to the cast.

The newcomers include pals Jake and Calum from Glasgow, the Gordon household from Surrey, married pair Andrew and Alfie from the Cotswolds, mother and daughter-in-law Sara and Lara from Yorkshire, and siblings Rosie and Susie from Edinburgh.
