John Smith and Bixby's Roller family will be honored by the National Wrestling Hall of Fame's Oklahoma Chapter 2025 induction ceremonies on Oct. 5 at Edmond's Hilton Garden Inn.

A reception starts at 3 p.m., followed by a banquet at 4 p.m. and the induction ceremony at 5. Tickets are $75 and can be purchased at NWHOF.org/OKChapter or by contacting Howard Seay at c4dcowboys@aol.com or 918-639-8868.

Smith, along with coaches Jack Hornbuckle, Michael Lightner, Dan Pettigrew, and longtime sports reporter Mac Bentley will receive the Lifetime Service to Wrestling Award.

The Rollers will receive the Madalene and Lee Roy Smith Family Award. Col. Kelly Laughlin will be presented the Outstanding American Award and former highway patrolman Robert Nale Jr. is the Medal of Courage honoree.
