Michael Irvin had an incredible career with the Dallas Cowboys, helping fire the team to three Super Bowls in the 1990s.

While he got to represent the team he always dreamed of playing for and spent his entire career in Dallas, things ended prematurely. He was forced out of the game with an injury that cut his time short while still at his peak.

Irvin, a former wide receiver, opened up on the incident in an emotional and sobering scene during Netflix’s new docuseries, ‘America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys’.
