BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — No charges will be filed against a man that was taken into custody for allegedly attempting to lure kids into a car outside of a Battle Creek library, officials say.
The 67-year-old man was arrested Wednesday outside of Willard Library after a group of teens said that he was trying to lure them into his van.
Calhoun County Prosecutor Dave Gilbert told News 8 that the office could not obtain enough evidence for a conviction.
The man was previously being held on charges of child enticement and attempted unlawful imprisonment.
