FRANKFORT, Ky. —
Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear is speaking out against U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. after a contentious three-hour meeting between U.S. Senators and Kennedy on Thursday.
The hearing with Kennedy came as federal health agencies face turmoil and questions abound over vaccine recommendations. Advertisement
During the hearing, Kennedy stood by his past comments on vaccines, discussed changes to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and talked about recent changes made to the COVID-19 policies.
In May, Kennedy announced that COVID-19 vaccines would no longer be recommended for healthy children and pregnant women.
