HOUMA, La. —

Two people in Houma have been arrested and another is sought for multiple burglary reports in Bayou Towers.

Derrick Chancey, 43, and Richard VanLeuven, 42, were identified and arrested as suspects in the burglary. Advertisement

Nicholas Cunningham, 30, remains at large.

According to Houma police, on Monday, around 10 a.m. they responded to multiple burglaries at Bayou Towers.

Through investigation, they were able to identify Chancey as a suspect. He is being charged with unauthorized entry of a place of business and an outstanding warrant and an additional count of simple burglary.

Further investigation led them to the identification of VanLeuven and Cunningham.

VanLeuven is being charged with two counts of simple burglary and four outstanding warrants.
