United States Bowling Congress president Dennis Hacker remembers fondly his time in the Capital Region.
“I arrived in New York in 1989 and spent 11 years there,” recalled the 67-year-old Longtown, Missouri, native. “I had just got off a submarine and was assigned to a nuclear training facility just outside of Ballston Spa. I stayed there for three or four years, and then worked in a computer shop in Albany.”
