SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — WSAV’s Friday Night Blitz Game of the Week kicked off at 7:30 p.m. with Liberty County versus Jenkins.

The game was scheduled to be held at Memorial Stadium, but was moved to Liberty County High School, school officials announced earlier this week. The change was made as a "precautionary safety matter."

"While there is no active threat, a review of certain isolated student altercations amid other community safety concerns has resulted in the move," a Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) spokesperson said.
