BEREA — Myles Garrett was back on the practice field Sept. 5, two days before the Browns ' opener against the Cincinnati Bengals . More important, he wasn't on the team's game status report, meaning he's expected to play in the Sept. 7 opener.

"We're ready to go," Garrett said after practice.

Garrett missed practice on Sept. 4 with a hip injury. It was the first time he had appeared on the Browns' injury report during the week.

Garrett went through his full set of individual drills during the 10 minutes or so of practice open to the media. With both he and defensive tackle Mike Hall Jr. (knee) on the field and doing drills, the entire roster was practicing in advance of the opener.
