The Berrien Community Foundation has announced the latest recipients of Heart of Cook grants.
Heart of Cook grants are awarded by employees of the Cook nuclear power plant to programs dealing with education, human services, and the environment, with priority given to initiatives that involve Cook employees.
In this latest round of grants, Cook says 25 non-profits and government organizations are receiving a total of $67,000. Among them are New Heights CCDA, the Cass County Council on Aging, the Harbor Country Rotary Foundation, Present Pillars, and the St. Joseph Department of Public Safety.
