(WHTM) -- A local grocery store chain said the COVID-19 vaccine is now available in its pharmacies.

The GIANT Company announced Friday the vaccine is available for anyone 12 years old and older at its in-store pharmacies in GIANT and MARTIN's stores throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, including Pennsylvania.

The Carlisle-based chain said doses are arriving today at its stores.

Customers can receive the updated vaccines if it has been at least two months since their last vaccine dose, the company said.

Vaccines are also available for children ages 5 to 11 upon request, subject to state regulations.

Walk-ins are welcome and customers can make an appointment online.
