Charlie Sheen is hoping to mend his fractured bond with Sami Sheen .

The Two and a Half Men alum broke his silence on his estrangement from his 21-year-old daughter—whom he shares with ex-wife Denise Richards —admitting that the root of their rift was a mystery to him.

“As long as everybody is still in the game, there's always a shot for a better tomorrow,” he said during a Sept. 5 appearance on Good Morning America . “I don’t really know what I did, that’s the problem. I don't know what I’m supposed to apologize for.”
