Crews remain at the scene of a fire that broke out almost 24 hours ago at a recycling centre in Dundee . ‌

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said it was contacted at 5.44pm on Thursday to reports of the fire on Wright Avenue. ‌

As of around 4pm on Friday, crews remained at the scene . ‌

Locals have been asked to keep their windows closed due to the smoke levels, and nobody has been injured.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 5.44pm on Thursday September 4 to reports of a fire within a recycling centre on Wright Avenue, Dundee. ‌
