INDIANAPOLIS — Police in Indianapolis are searching for a 70-year-old man missing from the northwest side.

James Byers was last seen in the 4900 block of West 56th Street around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Police say he is known to stay in the area of West 56th Street and Georgetown Road.

Byers was last seen wearing a lime green shirt, gray pants and blue sneakers. He may be in need of medical attention, IMPD said.
