The American Civil Liberties Union is among those telling the Baltimore County Council to fix the map or face a federal court fight.

The fight over the map included an ultimatum on Friday.

"Release the map now, give the public time to review and respond. Follow the law, follow the Voting Rights Act," said Sharonda Hoffman, an Essex resident.
