The UK's summer season has officially drawn to a close, but that doesn't mean we need to surrender to the impending winter blues. The thought of a long, dark winter can be intimidating, but I make it a point each year to welcome the cosy season with open arms, and this year, I'm more determined than ever to fully embrace it.

This includes going out and discovering more of the beautiful spots our nation has to offer, regardless of the dreary weather. There's one particular place I've visited loads since my childhood that is bustling in the summer, yet somewhat overlooked during the winter months.
