SAO PAULO (KCTV) - As kickoff fast approaches, the Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers have declared their inactives list for Friday night’s season opener.
Earlier this week the Chiefs shared that rookie wide receiver Jalen Royals would be out due to knee tendinitis. The Utah State product did not make the trip to Brazil as a result.
The rest of the Chiefs’ inactives include veteran running back Elijah Mitchell, tight end Jared Wiley, offensive lineman Hunter Nourzad and defensive end Malik Herring.
Rookie defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott, who was selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft by Kansas City, has dealt with an ankle injury throughout the preseason and will be inactive for Friday’s game.
