WACO, Texas (KWTX) - One of Fuzzy Friends Animal Rescue’s longest residents has found her forever home.

Bridget, an 8-year old Lab/Shephard mix, found her forever home after living for two years at the shelter and making three appearances on the popular “Fuzzy Friends Friday” segment on Midday on KWTX.

Kathie Robnett with Fuzzy Friends appears weekly on KWTX to showcase animals up for adoption.

She said when Bridgett got her home, everyone cried.

“We all cried when she left Fuzzy Friends Rescue, but they were tears of pure joy,” Kathie said.

Bridgett was an owner-surrender after her owner learned she was dying.

The shelter took in three dogs from the woman, but the other two were adopted while Bridgett continued to wait.
