MUNCIE, IN — The owners of a local tattoo shop are offering a "flash sale" Saturday for a good cause: 50% of the proceeds will benefit a local animal shelter.
The event will be 1 to 8 p.m. at the tattoo studio, 304 S. Walnut St.
Samantha Chatwin and her husband, Joshua Chatwin, are the co-owners of Fox and Sparrow and opened their downtown Muncie location last year. Their first Flash Sale with Animal Rescue Fund Muncie served as their grand opening, and they were able to make 82 tattoos, raising more than $2,000.
“A lot of people like animals, so it’s perfect. Tattoos and animals go hand in hand,” Chatwin said. “I don't know why so many tattooed people are actually really soft.”
This year, 50%, up from 25%, of the proceeds from the event, will go to ARF. To save on credit card expenses
