SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - The Orpheum Theater turned into a graduation hall Friday morning, but instead of caps and gowns, it was badges and uniforms for 21 new law enforcement recruits.
The ceremony marked the eighth graduating class from the Sioux Falls Law Enforcement Training Academy, a program that began in 2020 and continues to shape the next generation of officers.
South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley praised the recruits for their dedication and reminded them that the job often extends beyond policing.
