LAMBEAU FIELD, Wis. (WBAY) - We continue to count down the days until the Packers’ season opener and excitement among fans, showing no signs of letting up.

They have a tough game to start the season, as the Packers are set to face off against the Detroit Lions, a team the green and gold didn’t win against last season.

We spoke with fans from all over the country who flocked to the pro shop to stock up on new gear ahead of Sunday’s home opener, and every single one said they are so excited that Green Bay Packers football is back.

“It’s money, yeah. I can’t wait to see them on Sunday. I think it’s going to be a pleasant surprise for a lot of people. Hopefully we see Micah Parsons too, and I think the place is going to be electric. It’s going to be exciting,” says Aaron Banach of Detroit.
