JOAQUIN, Texas (KTRE) - The Joaquin Rams bounced back from a road loss in Week 1 to take down a football powerhouse in Beckville, 35-16, Thursday night.

Beckville looked to capitalize first by recovering a fumble but the Bearcats couldn’t score.

Beckville was forced to punt and Cooper Bragg took the return 73 yards to put Joaquin up 7-0.

Beckville came back to tie the game with a long drive but Joaquin held a 28-7 lead at halftime.

Joaquin (1-1) will travel to Tenaha in Week 3. Beckville (0-2) will host Harmony.
