BUFFALO, N.Y. — A formerly vacant restaurant space in downtown Buffalo will now be home to people looking for a place to hang out other than home, school, or work.

Third Space Café and Entertainment will celebrate its grand opening Saturday at 777 Main Street, on the corner of Main and Goodell.

Entertainment director Evan Laedke says the vision is to create a comfortable spot for both work and relaxation.

“This is really just a third space for people to come hang out, get some coffee, do some work," he said. "We're all about the vision of giving people a third space to be and relax and get stuff done.”

The concept has been in the works for about a year. Laedke, a musician himself, has prepared the stage to welcome artists of all kinds.
