BROOKFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) - With both teams starting their season 0-2, Sharpsville and Brookfield are going head-to-head Friday night.

Brookfield's Rico Smith got his steps in with a 33-yard run to score during the first quarter, followed by Ethan Martin, who ran one yard more for a 34-yard touchdown in the second, which left Brookfield in the lead, 14-0.

Still in the second, Sharpsville's Geno Currie answered back with a short run to the endzone, making the score 14-7 after Sharpsville's first score of the night.

Smith then returned an 85-yard kick return to find the endzone once again, strengthening the Warriors' lead with just over seven minutes to go in the half.

Currie brought in another run to bring the score to 21-14, creeping up to Brookfield's lead.
