SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – A four-vehicle crash is blocking all northbound lanes at Pines Road (State Route 27) and Indiana Avenue, according to the Spokane Valley Fire Department.

The crash occurred on the Pines Road overpass above I-90.

According to Washington State Patrol, the driver suspected of causing the crash was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes and has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

Emergency crews are on scene, and the roadway remains fully blocked as the investigation continues.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.
