SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WMTV) - Even with a change in leadership, parents in Sun Prairie are continuing to fight for answers and accountability.
Associate Principal of Sun Prairie West High School, Ed Ford, will be stepping in as the school’s acting principal.
The change in leadership is the latest in a chain of events after former employee Robert Gilkey-Meisegeier was arrested and charged in July.
Parents were notified about the change in an email late Thursday, but little other details were shared, including the employment status of the school’s principal, Jennifer Ploeger.
WMTV reached out to the school district’s spokesperson to clarify Ploeger’s employment status, but officials said they would not do an interview.
One parent, Justin Smith, said he was glad to hear about the change
