The Byron Bay wellness retreat featured in the streaming series Nine Perfect Strangers has been snapped up by activewear legend Lorna Jane Clarkson.

The Australian founder of the global activewear empire, Lorna Jane, paid $10.98 million for the luxury health retreat in the Byron Bay hinterland town of Ewingsdale.

The property, which was the setting for the TV series, which starred Nicole Kidman, was listed in February this year.

It sold this week through Will Phillips from Sotheby's International Realty Byron Bay. It was originally listed with a price guide of $10 million.

Clarkson also announced the purchase on Instagram, telling her 239,000 followers that she had purchased the property. Loading Instagram Post
