BEMIDJI, Minn. — How you process the Annunciation School Shooting will always depend on your own personal experience.
"I had to turn the news off," said Missy Dodds.
The shooting last week was retraumatizing for Dodds, who admits that she's still processing the school shooting that forever changed her own life.
In 2005, a gunman shot and killed a security guard at Red Lake High School and then walked into Dodds' classroom, killing five students and a fellow teacher.
Early this year, Dodds and two of her surviving students, spoke to KARE11 about the 20th anniversary of that shooting .
Months later, she found herself trying to process yet another mass shooting in her home state.
