SALT LAKE CITY — Needs Beyond Medicine has received a $15,000 grant from the Cancierge Foundation to support its Relief Program, which provides financial help to cancer patients for non-medical expenses such as groceries, utilities and transportation.

The nonprofit said the funding will help ease the financial burden patients face while undergoing treatment.

“We are deeply grateful to the Cancierge Foundation for this generous gift,” said Phil Brown, founder and CEO of Needs Beyond Medicine in a release. “Their support ensures that cancer patients receive the help they need beyond medical care, so they can focus on recovery with dignity and peace of mind.”
