MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - The Memphis Police Department arrested a man who was allegedly responsible for an assault on his father back in August.
On August 10, MPD was flagged down at the Memphis Police Mount Moriah Station by a man who said he was attacked by his son.
The attack took place at his home on the 2800 block of Randy Cove.
According to police, 32-year-old Miguel Gomez Jr. grew angry when he asked if his dad told one of his friends that he was his dad, to which the dad replied that he did.
Gomez Jr. then punched his dad in the mouth. The dad tried to run out of the house, where he was punched again by his son.
He slammed his dad to the ground and began dragging him on the pavement, MPD says.
