A key San Antonio Spurs star has incurred a major injury ahead of the team's training camp.

San Antonio is angling for a potential postseason return in 2025-26, but it will be without one of its key contributors likely through at least the preseason.

The Spurs already boast an All-Star and All-Defensive Team center in Victor Wembanyama, plus a one-time All-Star point guard in recent trade acquisition De'Aaron Fox .
