Perrysburg junior quarterback Brady Maxwell accounted for four touchdowns and the Yellow Jackets defense completely stifled Fremont Ross in a 31-0 shutout Friday at Steinecker Stadium.

Perrysburg (2-1) rolled out to a 28-0 lead at halftime over the Little Giants. Maxwell played in a key role in all four touchdowns.

The Yellow Jackets had a 317-50 edge in total yards at the break. Maxwell had completed 16 of 18 passes for 199 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 40 yards and two more scores at the end of the second quarter. Wide receiver Ethan Devries had six catches for 116 yards and one TD in the first half.

In the Northern Lakes League divisional crossover game, Perrysburg forced a running clock in the second half.
