The Trinity Shamrocks had their 11-game winning streak snapped, falling on the road to Cincinnati Moeller, 24-21.
Trinity got out to a fast start, taking a 14-0 lead midway through the second quarter, but the Crusaders answered in a hurry.
Jack Mallabar got Moeller on the board just before half with a 39-yard field goal. The Crusaders opened the second half by driving down the field for a touchdown. On Trinity's ensuing drive, a Connor Cuozzo interception led to the go-ahead score for Moeller.
Crusaders quarterback Matt Ponatoski left the game just before halftime with a minor ankle injury, but finished the game going 21-for-26 with 196 yards and three touchdowns.
Trinity found success on the ground, with Jamaurion Berry and Ashton Taylor combining for 136 yards and two touchdowns.
