A residential building near Vanness Avenue and Spencer Street in East Vancouver was the scene of an apparent double homicide on Friday afternoon.

Vancouver Police responded to reports of a stabbing around 2 p.m. and found two victims in an apartment, and two more people with serious injuries.

The surviving victims were taken to hospital.

Police don’t believe there is an ongoing risk to the public and will supply a dditional information as the investigation unfolds.
