INDIANAPOLIS — The weather will be mild for Friday night plans, with only a slight chance of a shower. The heavier rain and storms will stay south of the Ohio River. Those storms are developing ahead of another cold front. That front brings a reinforcing shot of cooler air for the weekend. Overnight temperatures will be in the upper 40s and lower 50s and forecast highs are near 70 degrees.
The Saturday forecast includes a mix of sun and clouds. One or two showers might pop up, but most of the area will be dry.
It will be a sunny Sunday and great weather for the home opener at Lucas Oil Stadium for our Colts.
A gradual warming trend is in the forecast for next week. 80s are back midweek.
