JAMESTOWN — Bill Nelson didn't mince his words on Friday night.
"Football sucks sometimes," said Nelson, the head coach of the Jamestown High School football team.
Midway through the second quarter of the Blue Jays' tilt against Grand Forks Central, Jamestown's starting quarterback Brady Nenow took a sack by Eli Fisher that sent him to the turf and the sidelines for the rest of the game. As of Sept. 5, the extent of the injury was not known.
"Injuries have happened to us in the past and it's about who is going to rally and step up," Nelson said. "It starts with the coaches and we have to make sure that we rally the troops and keep them positive."
The Blue Jays wound up dropping 39-7 on Friday to drop their record to 1-1.Central is 2-0 for the first time since 2004. Jamestown will be ba
