NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The New Mexico Department of Health is working to ensure everyone who wants a COVID-19 vaccine can get one by changing the state's own guidelines for pharmacies and how they can administer the shot. This comes after the Trump Administration updated guidelines that have limited vaccine eligibility. Though anyone can walk into a pharmacy for the vaccine, they may encounter high costs. “We want no barriers to them getting, no barriers for anyone,” said Dr. Miranda Durham, chief medical officer with the New Mexico Department of Health.
