CARTERVILLE — It was a wild finish, but the Carterville Lions prevailed in the end, defeating a young, but motivated Nashville squad, 21-14, Friday in intraconference play.

With the win, the Lions improve to 2-0 on the season. The Hornets fall to 1-1.
