For the second season in a row, the Oklahoma City Thunder will be without one of its top draft picks as the team announced that rookie big man Thomas Sorber sustained a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, which ends his 2025-26 season.

The injury, which happened during an offseason workout Thursday afternoon in Oklahoma City, will sideline Sorber for the 2025-26 season. The Thunder selected Sorber with the 15th pick in the 2025 NBA Draft this offseason. ×
