ASHEVILLE – Erwin two-way star Lawson Reynolds will miss the rest of the 2025 North Carolina high school football season with a torn ACL, according to coach Rodney Pruett.
"It is devastating," Pruett said. "I hate it for the kid, I hate it for our team."
Early in the second quarter of Erwin's 27-21 loss to West Henderson in the season opener on Aug. 22, Reynolds left the game with an apparent left knee injury and remained on the sideline with an ice pack the rest of the game.
