FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The CEO of Experience Fayetteville has been placed on paid administrative leave less than two months after stepping into the role amid an investigation into a "personnel matter."

Ryan Hauck came to Experience Fayetteville, the city's tourism bureau, in July 2025. The organization is the destination marketing group for Fayetteville and is known for events like Sundays on the Square, Lights of the Ozarks, and Fayetteville Restaurant Week.

Hauck is the former head of Cody Yellowstone, the tourism group for Park County, Wyoming. He has a background in entertainment and events, as well as the public and private sectors of tourism, according to Experience Fayetteville.
